[Stmaa-board] New member meeting April 4th

Just a reminder that we have a new member meeting for our program on Monday, 
April 4th at 7pm in the band room. Robin DeJarnett is assisting me in preparing 
a handout for that evening, which I will share with you later this week for your 
input. 


We have invited all incoming freshman and other potential new members (ie color 
guard members). 


I will also be making a powerpoint presentation to use. 

Topics to be discussed (in no particular order yet) include: 
-Band Day 2011 (Marching Band Introduction Day)
-Marching Band (how to register, what it is, etc)
-Financial donations to program (we will not have band fees set yet but we can 
introduce this) WITH
-Fundraising (Shoreline/Giants/Coupon Books etc)
-What class to enroll in on Naviance
-All of our program offerings
-Jazz Program
-Website
-Calendar 
-Communication
-Band is a class in which you get a grade for...briefly how that grade is 
determine (attendance)
-Hawaii 2012
-Who is STMAA? 
-Summer schedule (MB)
